CRECO (cree-co), Contractors Rental Equipment Company, started out as an electrical contracting business in 1979. We were the electrical contractor for two of the city's largest businesses, IBM and Hughes (Raytheon), making a major impact on Tucson's growth and development. As the business continued to expand it acquired many pieces of specialized equipment. There being no other supplier from which to rent such specialized equipment, electrical sub-contractors came to us. As a result, CRECO was established as a seperate business.

     Soon contractors throughout the construction industry took notice of our focus on customer care and started asking for equipment in their areas of specialty. Today, general contractors in construction and sub-contractors in HVAC, landscaping, plumbing, concrete, masonry, drywall, paving, signage and mechanical all come to us to help them successfully complete their projects.      Since purchasing the business in April, 2006, Randy "Red" Collins has remained committed to keeping its loyal customers satisfied in addition to focusing on building new business. New equipment continues to be added to the product line. The same maintanence crew has worked under the leadership of Red over twenty years building exceptional experience in their areas of specialty. Everyone at CRECO believes that commitment to the customer, combined with experience, keeps us one step ahead of the competition while providing the customer with added value.
